DYMAG Backs Bemsee’s New Naked Racing Series for 2027

DYMAG® has been confirmed as title sponsor of the new BMCRC DYMAG Naked series, strengthening the brand’s commitment to naked bike racing and bringing its extensive racing pedigree to the Bemsee championship.

The new series, announced by the British Motorcycle Racing Club (Bemsee) earlier this year, will give one of motorcycling’s fastest-growing sectors its own dedicated championship platform and grid in the UK. DYMAG’s involvement as title sponsor brings it’s experience in lightweight performance and motorcycle racing to the championship ahead of its launch in 2027.

Over the past decade, naked motorcycles have grown in popularity within the motorcycle industry, combining high-performance engineering with real-world versatility. Models such as the Yamaha MT series, KTM Duke range, Triumph Street Triple, Aprilia Tuono, Ducati Streetfighter and BMW S1000R have attracted a rapidly expanding and enthusiastic rider base.

The BMCRC DYMAG Naked Series will feature two classes: the top-tier Super Naked Trophy, open to unlimited-capacity machines, and the Naked Cup, catering for smallercapacity bikes.

As title sponsor, DYMAG® will support the championship, providing spot prizes at each round across both classes, while giving all entrants access to its lightweight forged aluminium UP7X wheels at a discounted rate. The wheels will be an approved performance upgrade for the championship, giving competitors the opportunity to improve handling and performance while keeping costs accessible within the realities of club racing. The overall championship winner of each class will also receive a brand set new of DYMAG® UP7X wheels at the end of the season.

The lightweight philosophy behind UP7X delivers sharper handling, faster response and
enduring strength, making it for a natural fit for a championship built around highperformance naked motorcycles.

DYMAG® has an established racing pedigree across both the UK and US, with its lightweight wheel technology supporting riders and teams across global motorcycle racing. The brand already has a close connection to naked bike racing in the US through its partnership with the MotoAmerica Super Hooligan National Championship, where it’s lightweight UP7X and SECTOR wheels are used by teams competing across the series.

The new partnership with Bemsee builds on that experience and further strengthens DYMAG’s commitment to supporting global motorcycle racing, as it adds to its growing portfolio of partnerships. The brand is proud to work with some of the sport’s leading names, including TT legend Michael Dunlop, back-to-back British Superbike Champion Kyle Ryde, and Bathams AJN Racing, the team founded by road racing legend Michael Rutter.

Commenting on the new partnership, Shaun Golding, General Manager and Head of UK Operations at DYMAG®, commented: “Motorcycle racing has been part of DYMAG’s heritage for decades, and it continues to shape who we are as a brand. We’re proud to be embarking on a new partnership with Bemsee and look forward to seeing it develop into an exciting new platform for riders, teams and manufacturers.”

Mike Dommett, CEO of The British Motorcycle Racing Club (Bemsee), continued: “We are delighted to have DYMAG on board as title sponsor of our new Naked Series for 2027. Their racing heritage and lightweight wheel technology make them a great fit for the championship, and we’re looking forward to working together to deliver an exciting and accessible series for riders.”

With naked bike racing continuing to grow in popularity, DYMAG® sees an opportunity to help support the creation of a strong and accessible racing platform for UK competitors, while bringing its experience to a new championship.
