The 2026 Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix delivered another unforgettable fortnight of racing on the Isle of Man, with iconic machinery, legendary riders and a number of impressive performances across the Mountain course.
From Michael Dunlop’s dominant Lightweight Classic TT victory to a double podium for Greenall Racing in the Senior Classic TT, it was a strong showing for DYMAG equipped riders and teams.
WizNorton Racing Returns to the Classic TT
The WizNorton Racing team returned once again to this year’s Classic TT, campaigning the iconic WRS 588cc Rotary in the Formula One class.
The outfit first competed at the Classic TT in 2014 and continues to celebrate the unique character of rotary-powered racing on the Isle of Man. This year, Peter Hickman took control of the distinctive machine, equipped with classic DYMAG wheels.
Despite setbacks during race week, the WizNorton machine remains one of the most recognisable machines in the paddock and a firm fan favourite around the course.
Michael Dunlop Sets the Pace
Michael Dunlop arrived with strong initial pace in the Lightweight class, topping the timesheets heading into the final day of qualifying. Riding the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda 250 on classic DYMAG wheels, Dunlop set a 117.596 mph lap on Friday.
If qualifying provided an indication of what was to come, race day confirmed it. Dunlop went on to claim a commanding victory in the Lightweight Classic TT race, opening up a three-minute advantage over his nearest rival, Sweeney, and setting the fastest lap of the race with a 119.082 mph lap.
Podium Success in the Manx Grand Prix
The Manx Grand Prix got underway with a strong podium performance for DYMAG-equipped machinery in the MGP Road Racing News Sportbike race.
Eddy Wormald rode the Flitwick Motorcycles/SMV Yamaha R7, equipped with DYMAG UP7X wheels, to a brilliant second-place finish in the opening race of the Manx Grand Prix.
Dan Sayle took an impressive P2 finish in the Carole Nash Junior Manx Grand Prix race on the RPM Motorcycles/Barnes Racing Aprilia RS660, equipped with striking UP7X wheels.
Success in the Formula One Classic TT
The Formula One Classic TT race produced another standout result with the majority of the top five running DYMAG-equipped machines.
Jamie Coward secured P2 aboard the Greenall Racing Kawasaki ZXR750, while Mike Browne finished just outside the podium places in P3 on the Steadplan Racing Kawasaki.
Local rider Nathan Harrison stormed through to P4 for Greenall Racing, while Steadplan Racing’s Davo Johnson rounded out the top five.
Greenall Racing Secures a Double Podium
Greenall Racing’s strong week continued into the Senior Classic TT race, where Jamie Coward and Nathan Harrison delivered another impressive result for the team.
Coward secured P2, with Harrison joining him on the podium in P3, both on the Greenall Racing Kawasaki ZX750s. The double podium provided a fitting conclusion to the team’s Classic TT programme and capped off a highly competitive week for both riders.
