As the 2026 British Superbike Championship reaches its halfway stage, Kyle Ryde and Nitrous Competitions Racing have firmly established themselves as the benchmark, with their new Ducati V4R package proving to be the one to beat throughout the first half of the season.

After making the perfect start at Oulton Park back in May with a new outright lap record and three race wins, Ryde has continued to build momentum at every round. Heading into the second half of the season, the reigning double British Superbike Champion leads the standings with twelve wins from eighteen races and has yet to finish outside of the podium positions.
The pace shown across the opening half of the campaign has extended far beyond race day, with Ryde securing four pole positions and rewriting the lap record books along the way.
Donington Park saw him produce a 1:26.123 qualifying lap to take more than seven tenths off the existing outright lap record. A few rounds later at Brands Hatch, Ryde set the fastest ever two wheeled lap of the Grand Prix circuit with a lap of 1:23.954.

The new 2026 partnership between Nitrous Competitions Racing and DYMAG® has proved a success with both Kyle Ryde and teammate Glenn Irwin equipped with DYMAG® x Roland Sands Design SECTOR wheels.
Designed in collaboration between DYMAG® and Roland Sands Design, SECTOR wheels are engineered to be significantly lighter than OEM cast aluminium wheels. Their lightweight construction delivers improved acceleration, braking and handling, with performance that continues to be proven at the very highest levels of motorcycle racing.
The British Superbike Championship returns on the 14th-16th August at Thruxton, the fastest circuit in the UK, for round seven of the eleven round championship.
