British coachbuilder Radford Motors has selected DYMAG’s bespoke carbon-hybrid wheels for its latest design, the Radford Roadster. Building on the successful collaboration behind the Type 62-2 JPS, the new Roadster combines heritage inspired design with advanced lightweight engineering, with DYMAG’s bespoke carbon-hybrid wheels playing a key role in its performance-focused philosophy.
Inspired by the iconic 1969 Lotus Type 62 race car, the Radford Roadster will be hand built in highly limited numbers, with each vehicle individually commissioned and co created with Radford’s design team, allowing customers to tailor every detail to their own vision.
Designed specifically for the Roadster, DYMAG’s bespoke carbon-hybrid wheels combine the company’s lightweight BX-F carbon-hybrid rim with a magnesium centrepiece. Engineered to reduce unsprung mass while delivering high stiffness, the lightweight wheels contribute to sharper steering response, enhanced handling and improved vehicle dynamics.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to British engineering, craftsmanship and innovation, bringing together Radford’s bespoke approach to coachbuilding with DYMAG’s expertise in advanced lightweight wheel technology.
